Payment Methods
All transaction are processed in pounds sterling. You may pay for your order in the following ways:
Credit or Debit card:
We accept all major credit or debit card providers including: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc. All our online card transactions are processed by Klarna. Founded in 2005, Klarna is now one of Europe's largest banks and is providing payments solutions for 85 million consumers across more than 200,000 merchants in 17 countries.
PayPal
Interest Free Finance:
We offer a range of finance options for long or short terms. We offer 0% interest free payments through our finance provider V12 Finance, choose from a range of terms 6, 9, 10 or 12 months. Or for shorter terms through Klarna we offer "pay in 30 days" or "pay in 3 instalments" For more information on using finance please see below.
Finance
At Gladstones Jewellers we have endeavoured to provide you with an excellent range of finance options. We have integrated all options into a very easy to use finance builder that will allow you to choose and calculate the terms that best suit you and your purchase without leaving our site.
V12 Retail Finance
Once you have chosen your product, you can choose you initial deposit (between 10-50% of the total transaction value) then select your period of repayment (6, 9, 10 & 12 months). It will automatically calculate all the costs and give you your monthly repayment amount.
This option of Interest Free is only available on transactions over £299. This includes individual items or multiple items. The deposit will be limited according to the Loan To Value amount (also known as LTV) The LTV amount must be no lower than £250. Therefore for an order of £300 the only deposit option available would be 10% as anymore would take the LTV under the £250 threshold.
We offer 0% Interest Free finance on all products above the threshold with the exception of sale/discounted items.
To complete your finance agreement you will be taken to the V12 portal to complete your application. Once completed it will normally be processed within an hour (during business hours) if any further information is required you will be contacted via email by either ourselves or V12. Once you have been approved, you will receive a link by email that will take you to the page where you can pay your deposit. Once this has been paid and all information has been verified your order will be dispatched if in stock or manufacturing will commence.
Your monthly payments will begin approximately one month after you receive your goods. Please note we can only deliver goods to the address provided under the finance agreement, this is a requirement by V12 and will be adhered to.
Klarna Pay in 30 days:
Pay in 30 Days is a pay in 30 days option. Once your order is confirmed you will receive a link via email from Klarna (approx. 2 days later) where you can make payment either via Credit or Debit card. Klarna Pay in 3:
Pay in 3 instalments is a 60 day payment option. This will allow you the option to spread the total payment over three equal payments. The first being when your order has been confirmed by us, the second 30 days later the final 60 days later. Payments are taken automatically via the credit or debit card details you entered at the time of order. This option is available on transactions starting from £35 to £1000. Faulty Goods:
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a customer has an early right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory, unfit for purpose or not as described and receive a full refund. This right is limited to 30 days from the date the customer took ownership of the goods. If an item is faulty and needs to be returned, the customer does not need to pay postage costs for the return of the faulty item. If a customer is asked to return an item that arrived damaged, not as described or faulty, the retailer should refund the total cost of the return.
Security
We take all the necessary steps to protect personal data. When you submit personal financial data to us (e.g. card information) that information is encrypted and is protected with leading industry standard encryption software. All card details are taken and handled via Klarna. However the internet is global and no data transmitted via the internet can be guaranteed by us, we cannot guarantee the security of any data you supply to us disclosed online and we will not be responsible for any breach of security unless due to our own negligence.
