Will you send my ring away to be resized?

All precious metal rings are resized by us un our on-site workshop. Our Zedd Rings collection cannot be resized by us – due to the inclusion on Zirconium in these rings, therefore these rings are sent to the manufacturers base in Birmingham.

What rings can’t be resized?

We are unable to resize fully set eternity rings; these are stone set bands featuring diamonds or gemstones going all the way around the finger. Most other rings can be resized, some rings may need to be exchanged if the difference in size is too much, however this will be fed back to you before work is carried out. Rings that have been engraved inside, can be resized however there may be a chance that they need re-engraving, this will be a minimum of £10, however an accurate estimate will be given before work is started.

How many sizes can my ring go up or down?

This is dependent on the ring in question. We are able to size most rings up or down 5/6 sizes, however if you need any more than this call us on 01482 325302 or email us on enquiries@gladstonesjewellers.co.uk and quote your order number and one of our customer service team will assist you. 

How long does resizing take?

Simple band and engagement rings can usually be resized within 2 days, some more complex resizing’s, such as eternity rings, patterned wedding rings or engagement rings with diamond bands can take a week to resize. Rings requiring re-engraving can take an additional 2 days.

What happens after 12 months?

We are still able to resize your ring after 12 months from your delivery date, however this will incur a sizing charge, we will contact you to provide an estimate. All rings purchased from us after the 12-month period are estimated at a reduced rate.

Can you resize a ring more than once?

Yes, we can resize rings multiple times, again this does incur additional charges, which we will contact you directly to provide you with an estimate.

How do I send my ring back?

Please send your ring back to us using an appropriate insured delivery service, as we are unable to accept responsibility for any items that go missing.

Please return your ring to the below address and include a note or letter with the name of the original order, order number, current return address and finger size required.
